August 2007 - On our way to New York

This was Noah's first seat of her own on the plane. Today she had another first - her first bowl of chicken noodle soup to soothe her little sniffles. Noah's got a little cold, we think, but she's still up ad around and full of energy. She spends her days doing her Kitty-Kay puzzle (which she does all by herself!) Noah also rocks her babies to sleep, tells the dogs to hush and will hand me her baby and say, "Mommy feed my baby."

Every night Broderick empties his pockets on the side bed table. Some mornings Noah comes in and plays with the coins. For her baptism Noah was given a polka-dot elephant bank. She doesn't have an concept of money or its value but she doesn know that she likes puttiing "money for my bank." It is also a big deal to Noah for me to get the bank down from the top shelf. Today Broderick gave her some change to put i her bank and she sat on the bed and put the pennies back in Broderick's hand and said, "I don't want these."
