Cafe Brazil for Kamilah's 17th birthday party. There was a pink cake with gold sparkles, crowns, pink diamond rings and loud music in Portuguese. We got there early, there was a total eclipse of the sun, and the moment Kamilah walked in the door Noah ran up to her with our card and told her “Happy Birthday.” Noah was so excited to go to a birthday party. On the way over she kept asking, “Are we there?” Noah loves birthday parties. Then she ate everybody’s side salads and danced in her chair with a crown on and a blinking microphone to some Brazilian techno. Oh, no.
